Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 62

After racing to the shops with K1 this afternoon, I headed over to D's to create this week's Sunday Sketch:) Tis fun to create with someone!! After putting together my colours the tricky bit was how to give it that special touch..I spent a little time trying different papers, colours and brads. When I got home (while cooking dinner) I decided to swap the original yellow brads with the 'chocolatey' star brads - and on being pleased with myself..took the photo ready to post on my blog (meanwhile nearly burning the apples for bbq pork chops and apple sauce...heee..heee) love that ability to multi task!!! Mmmm..what next?!

Crazy for Challenges - C4C30

Here is my first 'Crazy for Challenges' creation! After the exciting, crafty week I've had - I think that I have certainly gone a little crazy for challenges:) This is my third card this afternoon:) hee hee! The sketch for this challenge was neat and simple - it certainly suited a cheerful 'get well soon' card. At first I thought it may turn out a little too pink..but all in all I'm pleased with how it all came together! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!

Our Creative Corner Saturday Challenge - OCCC

Here is another card I've whipped up today using this weeks Saturday Sketch from 'Our Creative Corner'! The SU Not Quite Navy served as a 'spacey' backdrop for my 'congratulations' card. Oh what a blast I'm having squeezing as much stamping fun in as possible in the 'spare' moments of my day:)

Stamp Something - Doodle Something Challenge

Hello there! Hope your weekend has been a goodie...and you've managed to squeeze a little bit of crafty fun into it! (I have...hee..hee!) Here is my first Stamp Something Challenge - 'Doodle Something'...I had fun putting together this cute birthday card - the fish were my starting point and then it all came together from there!

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 105 - Dimensions

Hi! Wow what a week!! Here is my creation (with an Easter twist) for Cute Card Thursday. I thought that the Sidestep card I discovered at a Stampin Up! Technique class (thanks Janice!) would be a perfect card to use for this 'Dimensions' challenge. Hope you like it! Anyway...I'd better get hopping and make some more, as Easter is only a week away!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sweet Sketch 42

Hi! Here is my creative touch to Sweet Sketch Wednesday:) I've put a ladybug under the magnifying glass (aka SU Sweet Treat Cup - my little light bulb moment that I had over the weekend..scroll to my first posts to see the dragonfly and butterfly images under the magnifying glass too)...a bit of Cuttlebug embossing to Old Olive paper, a few brads and a little rearranging to create my first Sweet Sketch Wednesday creation! Oh what a crafty week I've had:)

A little something:)

Here's a little something else that I whipped up this evening...a little handmade birthday gift for one of K1's friend's sisters (confused?!?! but anyway...a cute little notebook and pen). There are those flowers and butterflies again! May need to put them away for a day or so! All in all - SU ribbon, stamps, card, ink and the handy 'Bind-it-All' by Zutter and hey presto here it is:)

Project Tuesday - Flower Pot Card

Hello there! Just sharing my first 'Project Tuesday' creation - the Flower Pot Card:) I had fun creating then shifting the various flowers and butterflies around until they found their 'happy' position on the card! The
SU Butterfly and Scallop Edge punches are my favourite at the moment (think they've been on nearly each card lately?!) and so too have those SU Blooms Die Cuts! Tis my first Flower Pot creation...note to self...could be a goodie for Easter or Mother's Day pressies!

Mojo Monday Sketch 131

Well...here's our first attempt at a Mojo Monday challenge!! It is amazing how differently we all create! Kiddlywink1 (K1) came home from school to ask 'what was this week's Mojo Monday sketch' - and before I could even had a chance to grab the craft seat she was busy creating! K1 has used a combination of pink, black & white, SU papers and punches...a splash of ribbon and brads...abracadabra...here it is! Wackadoo!! So of course (not to be outdone) I grabbed a chance after dinner to create one of my own! Keeping on our pink, black & white theme - I added butterflies and a hint of blue and grey to mine and...drumroll...had my first attempt at Mojo Monday! We are having loads of fun!! Stay tuned for more exciting, crafty adventures!

Curtain Call Colour Challenge Act.22

Well here is this evenings craft venture - I've had a go at my first 'Curtain Call' creation! This challenge involved using red, yellow, pink, white and black to create a card. The main flower came from the SU Die Cuts Blooms set (lucky I had the set as I was struggling for the red element as my normal stash consists of Ruby Red). Cuttlebug to the rescue for the embossing..some extra bits and pieces...and before I knew it...here it is! Fun, Fun, Fun! Mmmm...what next!?
Yippeee..managed to link my card to the Sweet Sketch Sunday Challenge!! How exciting!!

My First Sweet Sunday Challenge:)

Wahoooo!! I have just done my first Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge - being new to this whole blog thing I'm not 100% sure how to get it linked..will work on the technical side a little later...but here is the finished product! Yippee!! Yahooeee!! What a great way to end the weekend! Ciao for now.
Goodmorning! I'd like to share my blog with Kiddlywink 1 (K1) as she was the one who inspired (or should I say....insisted lol) that we give this blog thing a go...so here are her cuttlebug creations from yesterday! Stay tuned for more K1 Creations!

I have had the SU Sweet Treat Cups and large circle punch sitting on my craft shelf for quite a while now...so after being at a SU Technique Class this week...I have had a go this evening at creating something a little different! I haven't (as yet) got any stamps to go with the Sweet Treat Cups, so I have improvised and cut out magnifying glasses! Hope you like them!
Here I used a combination of stamps/papers/ribbon from Stampin' Up! (SU) and my Cuttlebug and yes...Earth Element colours again - this time Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa and Old Olive!

Saturday, March 20, 2010

After being inspired by many...and enjoying a relaxing, creative afternoon....here's what I've come up with today:) With a combination of Stampin' Up! products and my Cuttlebug...here is my first entry for my blog...with the Earth Elements colours that I just love to use!
