After taking the kiddlywinks fishing this evening, I had a chance to 'play' with my new stamps!! This ever so cute monkey(from Stampin' Up! Fox & Friends set) is the latest addition to my 'collection'. I was on a little bit of a Mother's Day card roll this evening and the cheeky monkey just jumped out of the pack and stamped itself onto the design...hope you like what I have created for this week sketch for Sweet Sketch Wednesday:)
Layer upon layer upon layer... I just loved making this Mother's Day card using this weeks Mercy Tuesday Sketch :) With Stampin' Up! Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Not Quite Navy papers, ink, pens and ribbon I had lots of fun playing along!
Phew....I FOUND MY MOJO!!!! I've had a very tidy craft table of late...as you'll see with the K1 & K2 creations that the kiddlywinks have 'played' more than I have over the past two weeks:) With Mother's Day not too far away I decided that this weeks Mojo Monday sketch would be a goodie to play with! I've used Stampin' Up! Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive papers, scalloped edged punches, ever so cute ribbon and a little bit of this and that...wah..lah...here it is!!!
K1 & K2 were busy last week creating 70th Birthday cards for Grammy:) Here are the finished masterpieces!! I'm sure you'll agree that there's certainly nothing better that getting a card made with so much love! Grammy had a wonderful 70th birthday and enjoyed being spoilt rotten by the grandkids! Hip! Hip! Hooray!! We love birthdays!!

I've had a little bit of chance to create this evening during the last moments of the holidays...back to work tomorrow...boo hoo?!? So here is my creation for this weeks Sweet Sketch Sunday ...with SU Rich Razzleberry papers, ink and ribbon I had a lot of fun putting together a cute Mother's Day card...I'm not too sure if the photo gives it justice but I used dimensionals to raise the flowers, words and the ribbon. Hope you have a great week full of plenty of time to do the things that you enjoy:)
Our Creative Corner Saturday Challenge this week was all about BUTTERFLIES:) I had a package of goodies delivered to my door with NEW Stampin' Up! products that I'd ordered!!! So of course I had to have a play with my new Razzleberry paper, ink & ribbon...which I have to say goes really well with my trusty Old Olive paper...a few punches here, brads there and wahhlah...here is my creative burst for the weekend! I think the champagne (with flavoured native hibiscus flowers-Yum Yum!!) and crafty cardmaking company that I had may have also helped with the creativity:) Cheers to you and your crafty fun this weekend!

I have just finished putting together my Circle Flip Book for the Littlelessuseless challenge - the fantastic tutorial is available from Splitcoaststampers. To make this 'cute little fold out mini display album' - or circle flip book I used SU Ruby Red and Close to Cocoa papers as the main colours and slowly followed the step-by-step instructions to cut, fold, stick and layer...and then celebrate when it all came together perfectly!!! What a great 3D Challenge!! You've just gotta give it a go:)
WoW!! My first 'Baby Card' challenge from Caardvarks...The Stampin' Up! colours and papers just jumped out of the craft travel bag of goodies and abracadabra...a 'little ray of sunshine'....hoping to give the bloghop thing a go next as I haven't tried one before!
Phew...what a busy day it's been...still a little time for creating!! For Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #69. I chose SU Pumpkin Pie (from my travel craft bag) as the base colour, with a hint of Not Quite Navy and Old Olive papers, some patterned paper, flowers, ribbon and a cute 'rub on' birthday design that I just happened to find in a little ole stamping shop today:) and here it is....my little bit of creativity for tonight!
Still working from my little bag of crafty goodies at mum's (home away from home) I found that using SU Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa and Old Olive papers for this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge was certainly a challenge!? With a little layering, Versamark stamping, vine ribbon, cute owl, flowers and pearl embellishments - I think that I eventually found my mojo:)
I enjoyed doing the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge as it was such a great sketch to 'play' with! With SU Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Very Vanilla papers, three cute butterflies, Cuttlebug embossing, simple flower and gold brads..this card just came together!
For this Saturdays Our Creative Corner Challenge the theme was 'BOWS'...I think that my theme went a little further and was more 'Butterflies and Bows'...With SU Not Quite Navy, Old Olive and Ruby Red papers, trusty Cuttlebug embossing, shiny pearl embellishments, butterflies and bows....here is my latest creation! (sorry about the lighting wasn't the best when I took this photo?)
Here is the first of my 'home-away-from-home' challenges - with a little bag of basic goodies I've managed to still have time to 'play' while in the city! Soccer mum by day and relaxing crafting at night - aahhh...loving it!! For this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge I have used SU Not Quite Navy, Ruby Red and Very Vanilla papers, Cuttlebug embossing, ribbon and added a few flowers for the final touch:)
What a busy week its been so far and its only Tuesday!! Soccer sidelines by day (plus a little shopping) and crafty challenges by night:) All I need to do now is work out how to show you my latest creations! mmm...may need a little creative technological magic - have taken photos but need to get them from camera to mum's computer...will sleep on it...Stay tuned....:)

Wow...what a 'sweet' Wednesday I've had...family, fishing fun by day...creative crafting by night:) Here is my Sweet Sketch Wednesday crafty challenge for tonight...I started with papers from SU - Chocolate Chip and Old Olive, added the stamps from the 'Forest Friends' set, a bit of embossing with the trusty Cuttlebug....layer upon layer...and the little rabbit just looks like its hopping down a bush track....mmm think my creativity may have just gone into overdrive...or the fresh air was all a little too much:) Anyway...hope your day is cruising along nicely wherever you are!
Hi! The weather here this morning was just too good to waste...so it was a coin toss for a game of golf or to go out in the boat (How I just love the school holidays!) Decisions, decisions...so we went out in our little putt putt to explore the bay (and do a spot of fishing). We had an enjoyable morning out with the bonus of fresh fish for dinner thanks to kiddlywink 1 and kiddlywink 2....yum yum! After a relaxing day it was nice to finish off with a little bit of a creative burst - here is my Mercy Tuesday Sketch challenge for this week. The cute little hippo is from SU Pun Fun set, with Old Olive and Ruby Red papers, Cuttlebug embossing, a bit of fancy paper and brads...wahh lahh...a cutsie little card for any occasion:)
Well...for Mojo Monday this week I've used SU Not Quite Navy paper and ink, the cute jellyfish from SU 'FishyFriends','airbubble' effect using the Versamark stamp pad..a little creative cutting and layering..and abracadabra...here is my Mojo Monday!!

Well...here is my latest Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge...after choosing the SU Ruby Red paper as the base...the other papers just 'happened'...the cute little owl from the SU 'Forest Friends' set punched out nicely using the large 1 3/4" circle punch....the Ruby Red circle was a little more fiddly as I cut it to fit with scissors - note to self...need larger circle cutter!?! All in all...it came together quite nicely and it was a fun sketch to do:)
This weeks OCC Challenge was to 'Break out the Buttons'...lucky for me I received some perfect ribbon as a gift just yesterday from a friend (if only she'd known that I'd be needing it quite so soon) so sure enough here it is! The papers I've used are SU Old Olive and Not Quite Navy. The cute little dragonfly is cut out from a larger SU 'Friends' stamp set..a bit of colour and a few buttons..and of course a little arranging and rearranging..and here is the finished 'button' result:)
Here is the fun Easter card I made this week for Cute Card Thursday...with the challenge having Easter in mind, the SU Bunny from the 'Forest Friends' set was just oh too cute that I decided one bunny just wasn't enough:) Hope your Easter was as egg-citing as ours!
Phew...what a busy Easter weekend we've had...lots of fun out and about 4WDing and fishing with friends!! I've managed to cram a little bit of stamping in last night and some more today...so my challenges are now up-to-date:) I've just got back from the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue launch and am all fired up for more creative fun!! Here is my Inkspirations Challenge to start with...the colour challenge involved SU Brocade Blue, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip & Very Vanilla...I made it last night and sent it off in the mail today:)
