Snippets of creative fun:)

With a sympathy card needed this week I went over to Sweet Sketch Sunday (#136) to check out the latest for inspiration:) Using this weeks sketch, Cuttlebug embossing, Stampin' Up! papers, stamps, inks, punches & ribbon I set out to create this simple yet effective 'Thinking of You' card.

I've had my cute Kraftin' Kimmie sketch (#97)ready and waiting all week and finally had a chance to play this morning! Copics colouring, Cuttlebug embossing, Stampin' Up! papers, ribbon, punches and a cup of coffee:) Fun! Fun! Fun! Stay tuned for some other cards in the pipeline:)

Holiday Creations:)

Here are the latest creations to jump off the craft table here at Sandybeaches...the first one is for a friend who is celebrating her birthday today...along with giving of a card & pressie - a yummy coffee & lunch was had to celebrate!! I used Unscripted Sketches (#125) for design inspiration, Stampin' Up! Stamp set, spinner, card & ribbon...and wahhlah...a simple but super 'birthday' card:)

The second card uses this weeks sketch over at Cute Card Thursday (#183), Lori Boyd digi image, Copics colouring and Stampin' Up! papers, ribbon, sentiment and label punch this 'Just For You' card came together oh so nicely:) Aaaah....its just oh so nice to be able to spend time at the craft desk!! Stay tuned for more creative holiday projects:)

Just Add Ink #86 :)

With my new Stampin' Up! stamp set and groovy spinner bling I was set for an afternoon of creative fun:) I popped on over to Just Add Ink to see the latest inspiration and found this fun sketch that fit so perfectly with the spinner concept!! Cuttlebug embossing, Stampin' Up! papers, stamps, embossing folder, ribbon and ink..and wahlahhh the all purpose card for any occasion:)

With my new Stampin' Up! stamp set and spinner bling I was on a roll with my creativity this afternoon and went over to Stampin' Royalty to check out their latest sketch challenge:) Here is what I came up with - the latest Birthday Card to emerge from the craft desk @ Sandybeaches;)

With an afternoon of relaxing up my sleeve...I cleared the dust from the craft desk and went straight over to check out the latest challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Along with my new Stampin' Up! Stamp set and groovy spinner bling I set to create! Using my favourite colours of Old Olive & Rich Razzleberry, Cuttlebug embossing, flower punching, ribbon and brads..here is one of my creations from my relaxing, crafty afternoon:)

With a birthday card needed for the weekend I jumped over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday for the latest inspiration! Aaahh..can always count on SSW for finding my mojo:) Kiddlywink 2 was off for an 'Amazing Race' birthday party at a classmates house on Saturday afternoon...so of course I so cleverly leave it until Saturday morning to make time for the creativity!! But ahhh...the card came together nicely:) This weeks SSW sketch, trusty stamp from my early stamping stash, Copics colouring, Cuttlebug embossing, Stampin' Up! Celebrations:)

Over the past few busy working weeks I have had snippets of time to create - here are 3 of the most recent additions to the craft desk here at Sandybeaches:) The first uses this weeks sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday(#107)...I had a request for a card for a 56th Wedding Anniversary Card on Thursday and so I popped straight over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday for inspiration! Stampin' Up! papers, ribbon, ink, sentiment & label punch; Lori Boyd digi images and Copics colouring and a whole lot of crafty relaxing time:)

The second card was inspired by the '1,2,3' theme over at Stamps R Us and the 'Summertime' theme over at Wags 'n Whiskers (#57)this week. The use of 1 image, 2 patterned papers and 3 embellishments for this special 12th birthday card. Using paper from the 'stash', Surfin' Edwin from Magnolia Stamps, Copics colouring and Cuttlebug numbers and a hippity happity birthday card for someone special!

The final card for sharing today is a special one I made for Kiddlywink 2...a slightly 'non-traditional' card for his First Holy Communion celebrations! The sketch over at Crazy 4 Challenges (#93) suits perfectly - as did the Lori Boyd image and Cuttlebug embossing:)

Weekend fun:)

Here are my first creations for the month of June! I received these ever so cute Kraftin' Kimmie stamps for Mother's Day from the kiddlywinks...and I've finally had a chance over the weekend to use them! Both cards use this weeks sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday:) and Kraftin' Kimmies theme of 'cut it out'. Copics colouring, Stampin' Up! papers, inks, punch, ribbon and a whole lot of relaxing!

With my end of May mojo flowing this weekend - in between kiddlywink sporting commitments, school work, washing, folding, gardening and all that jazz I managed to create a few cards so here is my 'With Sympathy' card using this weeks sketch over at Cute Card Thursday. Just love the way that the cute CC Tulip Birgitta stamp; Copics colouring; Cuttlebug embossing; Stampin' Up! papers, ribbon, sentiment, ink and embossing folder came together so easily:)

Midweek creation:)

With a birthday parcel ready to send for a 'May Birthday' I popped over to see the latest colour combo at Colour Q (#83) and this weeks theme at Our Creative Corner of Embroidery Floss. As I am away from the craft desk my holiday kit included Copics coloured images By LORi Boyd; Stampin' Up! paper, dimensionals; coloured brads and cutter. I then raided mum's sewing stash for Embroidery Floss and wahlah... a mid week birthday card:)
