Easter Holiday Fun:)

Take a look at just how magic the weather has been for the school holidays!!! We have had a wonderful time playing and relaxing in our beautiful part of the world:) Boating, camping, fishing, snorkelling, relaxing with friends...aaaahhhh!! With a bit of a cooler change and a little bit of drizzle today I had a chance to relax a little bit more with some creative fun at the craft desk here @ Sandybeaches;)

I had a request for an engagement card for this weekend using purple and white - I popped over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday (Sketch#150) for inspiration and dusted off the craft desk:) Stampin' Up! stamps, paper and bling worked perfectly with a dash of Copics colouring and the creative sketch...and wahlah...a lovely little card to celebrate an engagement:)

The second card (for the happy couple from us) is inspired using this weeks colour challenge (#133) over at Colour Q and the sketch challenge (#120) over at Stampin' Royalty. With Copics colouring, Stampin' Up! papers, scallop punch, stamps and bling the colours and sketch came together so well:)

With family birthday celebrations I had to delve into the stash earlier this week:) These next two beauties were made at Stampin' Up! craft sessions that I had attended last year...it was nice to have these cards ready to post for Birthday wishes to special family members - "Happy Birthday to you!" With Easter holidays just one more sleep away...I thought I'd pop a quick post to show you what crafty fun has been going on here @ Sandybeaches:) With an Easter Theme over at Cute Card Thursday this week Kiddlywink 1 has been super busy with her Easter Creations for her friends...these bunnies have turned out so cute that I'm hoping she'll make a few more for me to use as well!!

This birthday card is one that I made last night for a friend to give to her mum on the weekend! I popped on over to Just Magnolia for inspiration - So with Magnolia's Tilda, Copics colouring, Stampin' Up! papers, sentiment and bling I came up with this Springtime 60th Birthday Card:)

Crafty Creations for 2012:)

Welcome back to my wonderful world of creativity!! The first card I made to send to a gorgeous girl a few kilometres or so away who has waited ever so patiently for her pressie:) This weeks theme over at Cute Card Thursday of 'Anything Goes' and the design came together so nicely that I made more than one!!!

The second card uses this weeks sketch over at Just Add Ink...it was so fun to play with and it's a card that is made with love as it's well overdue and also on it's way to a VERY belated birthday:)

The final card for tonight is inspired by this weeks sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and is one that we'll be using tomorrow to 'THANK' the coach for this years softball season!!

WoWWWW!! Just where have the past 3 months gone?!! Busy! Busy! Busy! Here is a photo taken a couple of weeks ago...a warm and balmy evening out relaxing and fishing with friends:) Ahhhh this is the life! I have dusted off the craft desk over the past couple of weeks and dabbled in a little bit of 'me' creativity time. Stay tuned for more crafty creations here @ Sandybeaches!

Christmas Cards:)

Over at PaperPlay Challenges this week it's all about Christmas:) So with Tilda from Magnolia Stamps, Copics colouring, Stampin' Up! card and ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing and bits-n-pieces from the craft stash...here is my first card to show you today!

I discovered 4 Crafty Chicks this morning and immediately used the Christmas theme to make a couple of cards using CC Designs images, Copics colouring, Stampin' Up card, plus other bits and pieces from the craft stash:)

With a little inspiration from Stampin' Royalty this week...(I was thrilled last week when I was in their TOP PICKS!!!) I used one of my Lori Boyd Images, Copics colouring, Stampin' Up papers, flowers, sentiment, punch and a little Versimark background stamping to create this 'Holiday Greetings' card :)

These next two Christmas cards use this weeks theme over at Cute Card Thursday of Stripes....I just love Edwin in his Top Hat from Magnolia Stamps:) Copics colouring, Stampin' Up! papers, punches, sentiment, ink and bling from the stash!

So with Christmas around the corner...I had a request from my friend at the local florist to pop a few cards in the shop....So it was "Hi Ho! Hi Ho! Off to create I go!"...and here they are!

Belated Birthday Cards:)

I popped over to Unscripted Sketches (#136)for inspiration to create two special 'belated' birthday cards...and inspiration I found! Copics colouring, Lori Boyd and Stamp It! images, Stampin' Up! papers, punches, ink, sentiments, Cuttlebug embossing..and lots of love and creativity:) These two cards will be in the mail ( yes...I know...just a little late or ok..maybe a LOT late for one of them) for a special family about 17 or so hours drive away!! Always love catching up..and sending through special things!!! Mmmm...how many more sleeps until Christmas??! So many things to do...so little time:)

December Creations!!

The first card I'd like to share is a Christmas one using the latest sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday:) I've gone for blues and purples using Tilda from Magnolia stamps, Copics Colouring (from October holidays?!?) Stampin' Up! card, ink, sentiment, punch, plus bits and pieces from the craft stash and just love the way its come together!!

Card, ink, ribbon, punches, Copics colouring and bits and pieces from the craft stash:) Time is just flying by...and with the lead up to Christmas being as busy as ever...I've managed to create a whole class of flip photo albums showing the highlights of 2011..and as I sit here about to blog some cards I've created over the weekend...I've realised that I haven't even taken one photo of my mini photo album creations?!! Had better take a few photos before they get sent home tomorrow:)

Happy Birthday!

WoW!! Where has 2011 gone?!? I managed to steal a creative moment last week....a much needed last minute/night before card was required for hubby's bday?!?! lol...so over to much loved Sweet Sketch Wednesday I went a searching for inspiration! And wahlah...as always inspiration I found using the SSW Sketch (which I turned on its side?!); Stampin' Up! image, papers, punches, bling; and Cuttlebug embossing and oops I nearly forgot to blog it?! Roll on the Christmas Holidays!!! A special time for family, friends, relaxing, fun and craft!!!! Aaaah...let me see...how many more school days to go?!? I'm setting out to start to make my annual Mini Christmas Concertina Photo Albums..hope I haven't left my creativeness too late?! hee hee...hope your countdown to the festive season is going to plan and that the beginning of December is a joyful one:)

Rainy day creations:)

With the weather a little wet and chilly yesterday...I had a chance to escape to the craft desk here @ Sandybeaches:) With Tilda from Magnolia Stamps coloured with Copics...the sketch this week over at Stampin' Royalty (#94) was fun to use to create a 'Just For You' card.

For my second card, I used the same Tilda image and popped over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday (#124) for inspiration and sketch. All in all a great way to end my holidays as it was back to work today:) I have a few birthday cards to create and post...so stay tuned this week for some more creativity here @ Sandybeaches!

Holiday fun:)

Wow! How time flies when we're having fun!! We have had the most relaxing set of school holidays..spending time with fabulous friends visiting to explore and enjoy this wonderful part of the world with us! Lots of family fun time for all:) Camping, crafting, fishing, coffee, squiding, relaxing, eating, canoeing, swimming (well the kiddlywinks managed to take the plunge?!) the dads even had a chance to go boating and flying...and of course just in case we were going to get hungry - eating some more!! lol:)

With birthday celebrations today...I had a chance to Copic colour this fabulous Edwin Magnolia image that I was able to stamp when our visitors were here:) I popped over to Stampin' Royalty for colour inspiration and Sweet Sketch Wednesday for the sketch...a bit of Stampin' Up! paper, ribbon, sentiment, brads, punch and Cuttlebug embossing..and a cute card to take tonight to the pizza party!!

I had so much fun creating the first card that I made a second card also using the same image and sketch...just different colours:) Hope you are also having an awesome day!
