Welcome back this week to the craft desk here @ Sandybeaches :) I've had a chance to revisit these groovy fold-out cards that I experimented with last year....here is a cool card for a special boy who is celebrating his birthday this year in  NZ in October!! I've used this weeks colours from Tuesday Alchemy (#32); the theme from Cute Card Thursday of 'A Different Shape' (#235) and the Just Add Ink theme of 'Just Add Kids' (#136)... with Stampin' Up papers, ink, ribbon, stamps & punches; Cuttlebug Embossing and a little bit of love...wahlah...a birthday card ready for a special someone:)

The second 'fold-out' card uses this weeks colour challenge #37 over at Festive Fridays - Stampin' Up! papers, stamps, brads, punches, brads and bling from the stash...ahhh the first Christmas card for this year @ Sandybeaches! Thank you FESTIVE FRIDAYS....click here to check out the latest for inspiration!!

And the grand plan was to make a couple more...so stay tuned for more fabulous fold-out cards:)

My 200th POST!!! Wahooo:)

Hello and welcome back to the craft desk here @ Sandybeaches :) We have been busy at school creating Father's Day Cards 'aka' photo frames with Father's Day message on the back. We took photos of the kiddlywinks wearing 'workman' clothes & hat and gave them a hammer to hold. We turned it into a 'following the directions' activity and allowed them to be creative and place a variety of 'hardware' to create a much appreciated Father's Day!!

This weeks sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday (#171-103)is just a beauty!! Click here to go and have a lookie...and play along too if you have a chance!! I've put together this 'Happy New Baby' card using Stampin' Up! papers, sentiment and bling; Cuttlebug embossing; ribbons from the local craft shop and a whole lot of love. I popped into work today with the card, pressie and some white choc chip muffins to celebrate the up and coming arrival of a special bundle of joy for an awesome teacher:)

The last but not least card that I would like to share tonight is one using this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges (c4c153) sketch..it was such a great sketch to play with!! Sweet Sketch Wednesday Fun! Fun! Fun!

I've had a chance to 'play' this weekend with the fantastic sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday...Stampin' Up! papers, flower brads, ink & sentiment; Cuttlebug embossing; the cutest owl ribbon from one of the local craft shops and flowers from the stash:)

 The first 'Hoot-Hoot Hooray!' card came together so nicely using

 SSW#166 that I just had to make another!

So the second 'Hoot-Hoot Hooray!' card also uses this weeks sketch over @ SSW...slightly different colour combinations...and a different section of those cute ribbon owls and flower combination:) 

 Aahh...it's just so nice to have the craft desk a hive of activity this weekend...

and some birthday cards ready well in advance for special friends:)

Thank goodness for crafty nights with our wonderful local Stampin' Up! demonstrator....these cards have come in extremely handy this week:) The first went in the post on the weekend for best wishes for a Holy Communion...Simple, yet stylish!

 The second card for a 13th Birthday celebration for a fishing enthusiast:) Cute! Cute! Cute!

 And the third...sent with love & hugs in the mail today for special birthday celebrations on Friday:)

WOW!! We are nearly 1/2 way through 2012:)

Hello...and welcome back to Sandybeaches:) The craft desk has been covered in school work over the past few weeks! So here are some touches of creativity that I have been able to play with over the weekend:) This 13th Birthday card was for a special teenagers birthday on Saturday...with the inspiration from this weeks sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday (#159)...I set out to create a colour scheme based on the footy team that  birthday boy plays for....Stampin' Up! stamp set, bling & papers and Cuttlebug embossing came oh so together nicely!

The second card that I have to share is one for a belated birthday card that I have sent off with pressie today:) With inspiration from Just Add Ink (#123)..cute stamp borrowed from a crafty friend, Stampin' Up! bling and card/papers from the stash...and wah lah! Cute! Cute! Cute!

The third card is on its way in the same parcel as the second card! This is an extremely early birthday card!! I decided that while I was on a roll...that I'd keep on creating:) I popped over to Unscripted Sketches (#164)to see this weeks sketch and had a play!! Again...the stamp borrowed from a super crafting friend, Stampin' Up! sentiment. punches & papers, and a little extra paper from the stash...and a nice feeling of an early birthday card and pressie on its way!!

The last card was a request that I received from a friend yesterday to make a baby card with no gender specified:) So off I went to Mojo Monday (#247) to see the latest in sketches this week! Here I've used Stampin' Up! ribbon, stamp set, embossing folder, punches & brads; with matching paper from the stash....and a Happy New Baby card to go:)

Happy Mother's Day :)

Wishing you a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY :) I hope you are being spoilt by your families just as much as I am!! Breaky in bed and a chance to play at the craft desk:) Ahhh...luxury!! The Mother's Day Card below is one that I made this week using the colours from Colour Q  (cQc#136); the theme of punches at Stampin' Royalty; (SR#123) along with Stampin' Up! papers, sentiment and punches and a dash of Cuttlebug embossing. 

The card came together so nicely that I made another one with a little variation...some bling and a 'Just for You'  sentiment:)

 The next card that I have to share with you uses this week's sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday...

Kiddlywink 1's friend asked me to make a card for her Dad's 50th birthday this weekend and with Dad being a train driver I searched through the stash and found this train stamp from many moons ago (think that its one that the kids received as a pressie that I just knew would come in handy one day). So with Cuttlebug embossing; Stampin' Up! papers and sentiment; and the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday I set out to create a special birthday card:)
